I photographed my dad because I love him. He makes me feel happy because he likes to ride roller coasters. We love to ride our bikes and go on vacations like to Disneyland. I’m proud of my dad because he is a policeman. I’m also proud of him because he is our coach for the Special Olympics and is our Boy Scout leader. “Dad, I love you very much and you are the best dad ever. Thumbs up – not down.”
I am an athlete and I am an important part of my family.
I can sing, dance, play basketball, golf and Wii.
I will be on American Idol
Marcus is my photographer and the youngest of two boys. He is very active and does not let his disability slow him down. He has a very gentle heart and cares about his family and friends. He is very involved in Special Olympics as a swimmer, bowler, softball player, and in Bocce and is a very good dancer. He will soon be awarded the Eagle Scout Award at Boy Scouts. He goes to school and is in a work site program. In our spare time we like to travel, watch movies and just hang out. I am proud of my son because he’s been a fighter since birth. He has had to work hard to get where he is today and has a very daring attitude. My dream for Marcus is simple. I just want him to be happy with what he does and to do his best at everything he sets out to do. “Marcus, I wish that I had some of your skills and your fearless attitude to try things. I am very proud and honored that you are my son.”
