ProjectFocus impacted me by letting me know that it was ok to be myself; this was what made me special and unique. Since 2007, I have graduated from high school and started college to get my degree in marine biology. I have been living on my own for a few years because my mom and brother live in California. I am proud of being able to live on my own and take care of myself at my age. I was able to experience life’s next big step by taking on this challenge. After finishing college, my dream is to travel the world (and oceans) doing research about wildlife. I would like to document my travels and share what I see and learn.
