ProjectFocus was like therapeutic counseling for me. It allowed me to express myself through pictures and helped me open up. I was able to meet other people who were in similar situations with siblings who were ill or had passed away. In 2014, I graduated from high school and am now attending college full-time at Leeward Community College. I bought myself a car so I could get to school. I am proud of the fact that I went to college right out of high school which has also allowed me to be a good role model for my little brother.  My dream is to find success in my career so that I may give back to my mom.
