Nehzhelle

My mother is Vanessa and she has a big heart, is very loving and is such a strong person. When my mom went to prison, it made me a little upset because of the bad choices she made, knowing what the outcome would be. I was also sad and now I miss her and time can’t be rewound. I have learned from her mistakes. But my mom is making changes and it makes me happy to see her realizing that there is a lot more in life that can be offered to her. She has also turned to God. My mom makes me feel comfortable and complete. I miss her and I try to enjoy the moments when she is around because she hasn’t been around for a long time. My mom is always motivating and encouraging me to do good and she is very consistent in writing her letters and she always reminds me that she loves me. I would like to tell my Mom, “I hope you continue to keep trying and never settle for less and remember that I love you very much. Thank you for everything.”

My photographer is my one-and-only precious daughter, Nehzhelle Lee Mahealani , who we call Zhelly. She is loyal, genuine and a private person. She is my greatest gift. She has been raised by her father, George and his family. I am sincerely blessed with a constantly growing relationship with her and the love that binds us together. I would like to just sit and hold my daughter, kiss her and listen to her and tell her that I love her. She brings me so much joy. I am so proud of her because she has so much inner strength & beauty. She never stops loving or confiding in me. She has a good head on her shoulders and continues to endure and persevere each day. She strives through enormous hardships. I am proud of her because she is extremely helpful to and thoughtful of others and has a heart of gold. My goal for my child is to establish an intimate relationship with God, to love Him and know Him with all her heart. I want her to go after her goals of becoming an X-ray technician. I want her to know that I am striving for a stronger, much deeper relationship with God and all of my family members who I love so much. “Nehzhelle, I want you to know that you are the greatest thing that ever happened to me and I look forward to the rest of our lives together in building new priceless memories together. I love you endlessly.”
