Lia

My mother’s name is Fay. She cares for me and is very thoughtful. When my mom was incarcerated, I couldn’t spend as much time with her as I wanted. She is now working and is doing as much as she can to help herself and me. I’m now happy because being with my mom reminds me that she is now back in my life. Sometimes we go to the movies or to the mall. She is trying her hardest to make me happy and she tries to be her best for me. She inspires me to want to work hard in life to get what you want. I want her to know that although I sometimes give her attitude, I still love her and always will.

Lia is my photographer. She spent her early years with me, but has spent most of her time with her father’s side of the family. I enjoy relaxing at home with Lia and watching movies with her. I am proud of her because she does well in school even though she moved from Waianae to Kaneohe and had to make new friends at a new school, she still managed to get A’s and B’s. I would like Lia to accomplish anything she desires…her dreams are mine and I will be there to support her. My goals are simple…get paroled and come home and take care of my family. “Lia, I’m proud of how you’ve handled moving from Waianae to Kahaluu. I know that change is never easy.”
