Kristin “KC”

KC Carlberg was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2007 after her doctor discovered an enlarged ovary during a routine checkup. An ultrasound revealed a tumor, and further tests confirmed that KC had stage 1 ovarian cancer. Her treatment included two surgeries and chemotherapy. Despite her illness, KC continued to serve as race director for Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s annual Women’s 10K. Today, KC is healthy and living life to the fullest. As founder of TryFitness, KC empowers women to take charge of their health through fitness activities.
