ProjectFocus Hawai`i has given me the opportunity to work with great people and express myself in a way that I had never done before. Since 2008, I have worked alongside my brother to learn how to build cars. He is my mentor and has shared a great deal of knowledge so that I was able to build my own car. I am most proud of my mother, Lillian. She has grown so much since the times I used to visit her at the correctional facility and is a part of my life again. She is now being the mother I’ve always wanted. My dream is to own a 1962 Chevy Impala and join the United States Air Force to serve my country.
