Donette

This project helped build self-confidence and allowed me to be open to what’s new in the world. Explaining this program to others and in looking back on everything it offered, I realize how much I have grown as a person and how happy it made me. My greatest accomplishments since participating in ProjectFocus have been going to college and traveling to the mainland. I am most proud of sharing this experience with others and being able to come back 10 years later to participate in it again. I’m proud of having a mother who was open to letting us try something new by being in this program. My dream for the future is to travel and become a doctor or medical assistant.
