Devron

This person is my mom. I chose her because she is a person who always took care of me, supported me and loved me. She makes me feel happy when I’m mad or sad. This person makes me feel good and happy when she is happy, but sometimes when she is mad, I feel like it’s my fault. I like to help her with cooking and cleaning. She helps me through the hard times I have been through by cheering me up, supporting me, being there for me and always loving me til the very end. She means a lot to me because she is special, sweet, respectful and thoughtful. “Mom, I love you and I’m happy that you are there for me when I am feeling down-and-out and no one else is around to help.”

Devron is our foster son who came into our home in 2006. We are proud to be his foster parents because of his kindness and his love for all of us. He also has two other siblings; one who lives here and the other who lives with his paternal grandmother in Chicago. He is an especially loving brother to his siblings. We like to go to the beach, camping and shopping. Devron always does little things that no one else would think of. He is very outgoing and is not ashamed of who he is. He is intelligent in his own way and is very caring. “Devron, my dream for you is to finish high school then to become a responsible and successful man who will be able to get everything you have always wanted.”
