The kids just created their own pin hole cameras at La Pietra School. It was really cool. They took their film into the darkroom and exposed their images (self-portraits).

The images created were very personal expressions and the kids put a lot of themselves in the process. But they also had a lot of fun learning this most basic of photographic techniques.

Basically, pin hole cameras just allow a bit of light in to expose an image onto paper over time. It can create some really fantastic photographs. We’ll be sure to post them soon.
