Second Meeting At HUGS

The participants were so anxious to learn more about photography and cameras.

The participants were so anxious to learn more about photography and cameras.

It was so exciting to see the participant's reactions to their pictures from their photo shoot. They all came out wonderfully!

These are the wonderful ladies from HUGS who we are so blessed to be working with!

Our participants learned about Project Focus Hawai’i at a meeting in the HUGS headquarters.

We ended with bubble blowing. Some of the bubbles were gargantuan! Better watch out when they pop!

While sitting in museum's serene and peaceful setting, the participants made their first entry into their journal

At the Honolulu Contemporary Art Museum our participants learned how to journal and as part of the lesson, received their own leather- bound journals!
The first meeting with our ProjectFocus participants was great!
It was a gallant effort! Thanks to all of you, ProjectFocus made it into the Top 100 in our tier (#53) but didnʻt make the Top 10 ranking needed to be awarded the $25,000 grant. Itʻs ok…weʻre happy to know that so many of you cared to vote! A hearty mahalo to everyone!
In less than 60 seconds your vote for ProjectFocus Hawaii (PFH)could impact the life of a child. Pepsi is giving away $1.3M a month for one year to people, businesses and non-profits that are doing good in their communities! The ideas with the most votes win!
Your vote – and helping spread the word through your networking groups – could help PFH win a $25,000 grant. Our 2010 beneficiary, HUGS (http://www.hugslove.org/), will be the recipient of these funds. HUGS provides critical services to families of seriously ill children.
Your can vote once a day through April 30th!
